For the second time, artist Ahlam Al Shamsi was exposed to an unfortunate situation in the fashion capital, Paris.
The famous singer, who has more than 15 million followers on Instagram, was robbed during her visit to Paris last Friday.
The 55-year-old Gulf star filed a complaint with the police in the 16th district, revealing that she lost possessions worth 100,000 euros, after her bags disappeared in front of the residence in which she stayed in the upscale Passy area overlooking the Eiffel Tower, according to what French media reported.
Ahlam explained that she left two bags at the entrance, and when she returned to take them, they had disappeared.
While those familiar with the file believed that the surveillance cameras in the highly guarded residence would help identify those involved.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that Ahlam has filed a theft complaint in Paris. In 2016, she reported the theft of a Rolex watch worth 100,000 euros and a precious ruby, while she was sitting on the balcony at Chez Francis, a luxurious restaurant overlooking the Eiffel Tower, on Place Alma (16th century).
She had put her bag next to her, only to notice that her watch and the precious stone had disappeared.
