At 09.58 the Sør-Vest Police District received a report of a traffic accident in the municipality of Time.
It was a head-on crash, in which a total of three people were involved.
– The driver of a car was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital in Stavanger. Appears to be serious, police report at 10:38.
Police initially reported that the injuries appeared to be less serious.
– Slippery enough as a reason here, then a car crossed into the oncoming lane. There was one in a van and two in a car. We towed both cars, says operations manager Steinar Knudsen, and adds that patrols report slippery road surfaces at the scene.
Police initially reported that there were four people involved, but later corrected the figure to three.
