BEIJING, iNews.id – Xiaomi soon to launch a new flagship product, namely Xiaomi Mi 10i. It is known, the ‘i’ behind the series stands for India which indicates the product is made and will be marketed.
VP Xiaomi Manu Kumar Jain also teased fans by releasing a teaser video for the Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G. He posted a video describing the upcoming phone as an “extension” for the Mi 10, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and even the Mi 10T Lite.
In a post on Twitter, it says the Mi 10i is specially designed for India and uses a new camera sensor with 108MP specs, as seen in many teasers that have come out recently.
The launch of this cellphone itself will take place on January 5, 2021, as quoted from the GSM Arena, Friday (1/1/2021). In the teaser video that is shared, it can be seen that the cellphone is safe with a four-lens camera.
Two labels of note are “108 MP AI Camera” and “Built for 5G”. Xiaomi is the first to use a 108 MP sensor, the ISOCELL HMX. However, Jain mentions that it’s a new sensor – he’s probably talking about the HM2, which Samsung launched in September (the main difference is that it does 9-in-1 binning instead of 4-in-1 as an HMX).
