Ahead of the Launch, Honor Magic 3 Showcases Capabilities in the Camera Sector

Jakarta, Selular.ID – Honor is again showing interesting innovations. This time in the camera sector, the Magic 3 model, which on August 12 is scheduled to hit the market.

In addition to indeed carrying five lenses, it turns out that the shape of the main camera that is embedded in the back has a special housing or protection behind it, which means that the Magic 3 has the impression of water-resistant capabilities that are above the average smartphone in general.

And in a recent leak, it also shows that this smartphone displays a waterproof design test. The device has survived a series of water immersion tests, drops on various surfaces and screen scratch tests. The cooling system of this phone is also proven to be able to reduce heat quite effectively.

Then the quality of the camera on the Magic 3 is also listed branding 100x, which means it has a periscope camera and excellent digital zoom output.

In terms of performance, it is reported that the Magic 3 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. While on the storage side, this chipset is supported by 8Gb RAM, runs on Android 11 and of course supports 5G connectivity.

This innovation is certainly a way of proving Honor, as a smartphone brand to be reckoned with after leaving Huawei.

According to Counterpoint’s latest report, Honor has posted very strong growth over the past two months, reaching 8.4% market share in June 2021.

An interesting note is that Counterpoin saw that in sales between June 21 and July 4, Honor recorded a 36% jump compared to the previous two weeks.

The analysis of the massive surge is judged to be thanks to the launch of the Honor 50 on June 25. And from this note, it also indicates that this Chinese smartphone manufacturer has the potential to accelerate its sales again, driven by the Magic 3 product.

And now Honor’s position has been ranked 5th, as the most popular smartphone brand in the local market. Which is where Honor controls around 8.9 percent of the market with 6.9 million units shipped according to International Data Corporation (IDC) in Q2 2021.

Meanwhile, among all the top 5 brands, Xiaomi recorded the highest growth of 47 percent year-on-year, followed by Vivo at 23.6 percent. OPPO grew by 17.3 percent while Apple recorded 17 percent growth in China.
