BEFORE 2022 AFF U-16 Cup final against Indonesian National Team U-16trainer Vietnam U-16 National Team, Nguyen Quoc Tuan, started looking for excuses. Nguyen Quoc Tuan complains that his team will not have two mainstay players when they meet the U-16 Indonesian National Team in the final AFF U-16 Cup 2022 which will take place at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Friday 12 August 2022 at 20.00 WIB.
Vietnam performed excellently when they met Thailand in the semifinals of the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup, Wednesday 10 August 2022 in the afternoon WIB. Appear dominant, Vietnam won 2-0 over Thailand.

Unfortunately Vietnam had bad luck in that match. Their striker who has scored two goals in the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup, Hong Cong Hau, got a red card in the match against Thailand.
It did not stop there, their mainstay goalkeeper, Dinh Hai, also suffered an injury. As a result, Vietnam will not be strengthened by its two flagship players when they meet the Indonesian U-16 national team.
“The match between Vietnam U-16 and Thailand U-16 was tense. Goalkeeper Dinh Hai was injured and striker Cong Hau got accumulated due to a red card. The two players will not be able to participate in the final,” Nguyen Quoc Tuan quoted Soha as saying.
It could be said that Nguyen Quoc Tuan’s work is counted as a lot ahead of facing the U-16 Indonesian National Team. In addition to having to find replacements for Hong Cong Hau and Dinh Hai, Nguyen Quoc Tuan must raise the mentality of the players.
Because, mentality had become a problem when Vietnam lost 1-2 to the U-16 Indonesian national team in the group phase. Dizzy with the support given by the Indonesian U-16 national team supporters, the Vietnam goal conceded two goals in just four minutes.
“Regarding the defeat to the Indonesian U-16 national team, our players are under massive pressure from the fans,” said Nguyen Quoc Tuan, quoting Soha.
The final will be the third peak of the U-16 Indonesian National Team in the U-16 AFF Cup. In the previous two finals, the Indonesian U-16 national team won once and lost once. In the 2013 AFF U-16 Cup final, Asnawi Mangkualam and his friends lost on penalties to Malaysia with a score of 2-3.
Then in the final of the 2018 AFF U-16 Cup, Indonesian National Team U-16 won on penalties 4-3 over Thailand. How about Vietnam? This is their fifth final in the AFF U-16 Cup.
On the previous four occasions, Vietnam ended three matches with a win! This means that Vietnam’s winning percentage in the U-16 AFF Cup final has reached 75 percent!
