Manager Manchester City, Pep Guardiolacongratulated the tactician Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti. Don Carlo’s success in winning the basic LaLiga.
Madrid locked the Spanish League title last week. El Real beat Espanyol with a convincing 4-0 score at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Rodrygo Goes scored two goals against Espanyol. The other two goals were recorded by Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema.
Madrid has now collected 81 points, it is impossible to be chased by its competitors in the Spanish League standings. LaLiga only has four games left.
City will fight the Spanish champions, Thursday (5/5/2022) early morning WIB. Semi-final second leg Liga Champions it will be held at home to Madrid.
Looking at that match, City have an aggregate advantage of 4-3. Therefore, The Citizens just need a draw to advance to the final.
In a press conference before the match, Guardiola praised Ancelotti. The former Barcelona player and coach congratulated Don Carlo for a successful season.
“I congratulated him on winning the La Liga title last weekend,” said Guardiola in a press conference before the match as reported by Football Italia.
“I admire him, he has traveled the world, coached fantastic teams. He is an extraordinary person. I knew him several years ago and every time we were together, he was very calm, he could control his emotions perfectly,” he added.
