In line with the West Java area, the Central Java area is also preparing to anticipate the surge in the fuel needs of travelers. Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga Central Java, Brasto Galih Nugroho, said Pertamina was on standby to add fuel stock during the Lebaran homecoming period.

For the Central Java area, several gas stations in strategic locations will also be operated 24 hours. In addition, Pertamina has prepared a pocket gas station. This is in the form of a tank car that is on standby at the gas station as a bag or reserve for fuel supply.

“Pocket gas stations are tank trucks that stand by at certain gas stations so that they are quickly distributed to gas stations. People don’t need to wait for distribution at the Fuel Terminal,” said Brasto.

Brasto explained, from the Brebes-Banyumas-Purworejo route, eight gas stations will be placed in pockets. In addition, in Brebes, Purwokerto, Banyumas, Cilacap, Kebumen, and Purworejo, Pertamina Delivery Service motorists will also be stationed. This allows the public to purchase non-subsidized fuel via the Pertamina Call Center 135.

In order for this year’s homecoming to be smooth, both Eko and Brasto advised travelers to really prepare the supply of fuel in their respective vehicles. In addition, travelers are expected to use quality fuel that suits the vehicle’s needs.

“From our point of view, it is related to travelers to use quality fuel, environmentally friendly and of course in accordance with engine specifications, so that vehicle engines will last longer. In addition, we also urge you to use fuel efficiently according to its designation,” said Eko.

“We urge people who want to go home and travel to fill full tanks at gas stations before leaving and to make it easier to find the nearest gas station while traveling, people can use the MyPertamina application or contact Pertamina’s contact service at number 135,” said Brasto.
