“Ahasees: a provocative drama on the sexual problems faced by married women in Egypt”

Ahasees is an Egyptian film produced in 2010, written by Ashraf Hassan and directed by Hany Gerges Fawzy, starring Bassem Samra and Ola Ghanem.[2][3][4] The film narrates the sexual problems that women face after marriage for various reasons that differ from one woman to another. The film shows 4 models of 4 women who suffer from these problems after marriage.

The film revolves around Salma Ola Ghanem, who had a love affair with Ihab Bassem Samra, then married Ahmed Edward, despite having two children.

However, she did not feel any affection towards him and was longing for her old lover, so she used to go to Ihab, a young man who was ill with cancer, and who kept her away from him at the beginning for this reason, and he associated with the dancer, Nour Maria, and married her. And his friend Magdy Ahmed Azmy, whose wife, Elham Randa Al-Behairy, does not meet his romantic desires

He also goes to the dancer Bossi Donia Abdel Aziz. As for Hind, Ahmed Enas Al-Najjar’s secretary, she wants to have a relationship with him. Likewise, Dalia Marawi, whose husband does not meet her emotional needs, and thus turns into betrayal as well. Salma goes to the psychiatrist, Abeer Sabry, to help her get out of the well of betrayal, but to no avail.
