After Saturday’s game against the Alaves, which ended in a draw 1: 1, Agvero was taken to hospital for a heart test. The player was replaced in the first half because he complained of feeling unwell and chest pain.
Agvero has already released part of the season, recovering from a lower leg injury in August. Returning to the field after an injury, he played four Spanish championship games, scoring one goal and one match in the Champions League.
The 33-year-old Agvero joined Barcelona in the summer, leaving Manchester City after a ten-year career at the club. In the Manchester team, he became the player with the most goals scored in the team, accumulating 260 goals in ten years.
