Agung Podomoro Land Sells Ownership of Neo Soho Mall in Jakarta

Ownership of Neo Soho Mall, West Jakarta, was sold by PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk. The company codenamed APLN sold ownership of the mall Neo Soho through its subsidiary PT Tiara Metropolitan Indah (TMI).

The sale of mall ownership was carried out with PT NSM Assets Indonesian (NSMAI). In an information disclosure on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, APLN management explained that PT TMI had sold 152 units of ownership certificates for flats (SHMSRS) to NSMAI. The transaction value is IDR 1.44 trillion.

“The transaction does not have a negative impact on the company’s operational activities, law, financial condition or business continuity, bearing in mind that the company will gain financial benefits from the transaction,” wrote APLN management in a statement, Wednesday (27/9/2023).

The proceeds from the sale of Neo Soho carried out by PT TMI will be used to invest in new shares in PT NSMAI totaling 4,335,577 series B shares. This amount represents 28.58% of the total issued and fully paid capital in NSMAI.

So the remaining funds from the sale will be given to APLN through dividend distribution. Furthermore, APLN will use these funds to pay part of the debt to Bank Danamon Indonesia amounting to IDR 850 billion.
