Ensenada’s Jesus Aguilar is on a three-fight winning streak in the UFC. This time, it was the first fight at the international event in Australia.
Tijuana, BC- Ensenada native Jesús Aguilar opened the fight card with a win UFC 305 in Perth, Australia.
At 2:39 he performed a guillotine to subdue the local Stewart Nicoll (8-1) to end his undefeated record.
Aguilar is (11-2) in his professional career and (3-1) in UFChis three victories are consecutive since July of last year to date.

“I feel good, we train hard, this is for my family, for my people. I have 14 years of career and I am in the coolest octagon in the world.”
Aguilar commented in the post-fight interview.
The fight was held at 128 pounds, instead of 125 by mutual agreement of the fighters. Aguilar did not make weight, apologised and explained that the long journey and different time zones had altered his plans. In Perth local time, it was 6:45 when he was declared the winner.
