The Segovian town of Aguilafuente will participate together with carpenters from more than 260 cities and towns from 30 countries, from the five continents, in the great world project of “Alfombrismo” that will take place on the occasion of Xacobeo 2021.
A 7×7 meter flower carpet in the Plaza Mayor del Sínodo in front of the church of Santa María de Aguilafuente. The works, carried out by the Group of carpenters of this town, will begin this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and will end around 9:00 p.m. It can also be visited throughout Sunday.
It is a project promoted by Mr. Miguel Ángel García Correa aimed at the dissemination, dissemination and promotion of the Camino de Santiago, and consists of bringing together all the carpenters of the world who have been invited and have wanted to participate, to make in the emblematic places of each place, the same carpet, on July 24 and 25, 2021, dedicated to the Camino de Santiago.
