Erling Haaland expected to bring Manchester City win Liga Champions. However, Sergio Aguero believe, Man City will need more than just Haaland.
Man City had difficulty bringing home the Big Ears trophy, despite their success in dominating English football. Best achievement the Citizens has only reached the final once in 2020/2021.
In the last summer market, Man City then brought in Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. The young Norwegian bomber immediately showed sensational performance by scoring 42 goals in just 37 appearances in all competitions, including 10 goals in the Champions League.

“However, a player can never guarantee a championship title. This is about his team. Especially Manchester City, because their main weapon is a tough collective game,” continued Aguero.
Man City will host Bayern Munich at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg (12/4) early morning WIB, then take turns visiting the Allianz Stadium the following week. Erling Haaland has scored five goals in seven meetings against Bayern Munich.
“They are [Bayern-red] know enough Haaland in Germany, and they know what he can do. Nothing would be a big surprise for them. The big difference is that he is now at Man City, who promote great attacking football with lots of variety. They need to figure out how to stop the whole team, not just Haaland.” Aguero add.
