With the presence of first and second year students, the Agrosuper “Entrepreneurial Capital” kick-off ceremonies were held in the communes of Doñihue, La Estrella, Requínoa and Graneros, thus reaching a total of 11 communes in the O’Higgins and Metropolitan regions where the program is taught. This is an initiative that seeks to provide
tools to local entrepreneurs through training, mentoring and the provision of capital to boost their businesses.
At each of the ceremonies, students learned about the content of this new edition of the program, which has the support of Inacap, Fundación La Semilla and the Sercotec Business Center, in charge of leading the training and mentoring on topics such as the Canva business model, social media management, digital marketing and accounting.
After the opening ceremony in Graneros, the mayor of the commune, Claudio Segovia, highlighted the contribution of Agrosuper through this program. “We are very happy with Agrosuper since it has proven to be a company that lives with us and supports our entrepreneurs, people who are on the path to development, giving them tools to be able to grow. This is believing in people who undertake,” said the mayor.
For her part, Marisol Poblete, a second-year student of the Entrepreneurial Capital program and owner of the “Funghi Health” business, highlighted the lessons learned, which have allowed her to adapt her business to new communication methods. “This program provides very practical tools that one can easily carry out. Everything related to digital marketing, for example, opens up a new world for us in an accessible way,” said the Graneros resident.
Meanwhile, Agrosuper’s Venture Capital Coordinator, Consuelo Arraztoa, highlighted the progress made by the students, who today have greater territorial visibility and participation in the local economy. “Entrepreneurs constantly show us their growth and learning in topics such as social networks, achieving, in this case, greater visibility of their businesses. They have also seen the real costs of their work and how to make it sustainable in the long term,” said the community relations officer, adding that “this year we are adding new alliances and people to the program to support the students.”
Since its inception in 2020 to date, Agrosuper’s “Entrepreneurial Capital” has benefited more than 1,000 entrepreneurs. In 2023, more than 470 people, taking advantage of the program’s training and mentoring, managed to increase the visibility of their businesses, achieve a greater digital presence and better manage their ventures.
