Agrosuper contributes with school scholarships to Las Cabras students with a good academic record – 2024-04-18 20:32:37

With the aim of contributing to improving the quality of student and family life in the commune, Agrosuper and the Municipality of Las Cabras (through its Municipal Education Department) carried out, for the eighth consecutive year, the delivery of scholarships to students of the zone.

The benefit is aimed at 20 students and considers a total contribution of $3,000,000, which is intended for the purchase of school supplies and other materials.

Three of the beneficiary students belong to the Inés de Suárez school, while the other 17 scholarships were awarded to students who decided to continue their high school studies at the Liceo Francisco Antonio Encina Armanet Municipal High School (LIFAE).

The mayor of Las Cabras, Juan Pablo Flores, highlighted the company’s contribution to the education of children and young people in the commune during recent years. “I want to thank Agrosuper for having accepted our call and, at the same time, increasing the total amount this year and the amount of benefits available”,indicated the highest communal authority.

For her part, Agrosuper’s community relations officer, Ximena Reyes, explained that “One of the pillars of our work with communities is education. Therefore, on this occasion we wanted to contribute to the academic development of boys, girls and young people in this commune who have had a good career during basic education.”

Finally, one of the students’ parents, Jessica Araya, expressed her excitement at being awarded this scholarship. “This is the first time that my daughter receives this benefit, which, as a family, makes us very happy and proud since it allows my daughter to stay studying here, in the commune, with us”, he pointed.
