Agromousquetaires, the industrial division of the Mousquetaires group, aims to buy St Mamet, the leader in canned fruit. The company, whose head office is in Nîmes (30), processes more than 35,000 tonnes of fruit each year in its factory in Vauvert (30). It has a turnover of €65 million and employs 150 permanent employees plus 200 seasonal workers.

The company from Nîmes is a partner of 150 arboriculturists from the South-East of France, with whom contracts have been signed for more than 15 years. It is committed to organic and/or HVE certification for its pears, peaches and cherries in particular. With this acquisition project, Agromousquetaires intends to create a center of excellence for fruit. The group notably owns the Delvert factory in Beynat (19) specializing in the production of compotes and jams.
St Mamet was acquired in near bankruptcy in 2015 by the Florac fund before being sold to Hivest Capital partners in 2018. This project is a great opportunity for the women and men of St Mamet.
