Metalfor stood out at the Aapresid congress, held in Buenos Aires from August 7 to 9, by presenting the innovative design of its pneumatic fertilizer spreader equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Javier Grasso, commercial manager of the company, explained to Valor Agregado Agro the features that make this machine a versatile and cutting-edge tool in the agricultural sector.

The presented model incorporates the “Aumenta” system, a technological solution that includes four multispectral cameras located in the machine cabinGrasso explained that thanks to AI, the fertilizer spreader is capable of performing variable fertilization in real time, adapting to the specific needs of each field environment.
“The cameras have the capacity to multiply the width by the height of the area to be worked, achieving a coverage of more than 40 meters wide, while the machine itself has a working width of 36 meters,” said Grasso. He also highlighted that the cameras allow for real-time analysis of fertilizer requirements, adjusting the dosage according to the conditions detected.
Another of the relevant aspects mentioned by Grasso was the The machine’s ability to generate fertilization prescriptions while operatinga feature increasingly in demand by agricultural producers.
“A crucial point is the clearance offered by the machine, which is ideal for re-fertilizing corn, cover sowing and service crops. It allows working at different stages of the crop without damaging the plants, even when they are over 1.80 meters tall,” Grasso stressed.
This advanced fertilizer is also capable of operating with service crops, applying doses that vary between 4 and 5 kilos per hectare, up to more than 200 kilos.
Finally, Grasso celebrated the success of Metalfor’s participation At the congress: “Aapresid is an event that demands the best in technology, and our fertilizer has been a true revelation. We are very satisfied with the response from the public during these three days.”
