Agricultural machinery news in the world

The Japanese company Kubota has introduced new engines that run on hydrogen and hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO).

According to the manufacturer, in almost all brands of cars and vehicles with Cuba Diesel engines can now use this synthetic biofuel.

HVO emits 90% less greenhouse gases compared to conventional diesel fuel. The first engines for HVO fuel were officially approved by Kubota in March 2023.

HVO is currently available at public gas stations in Germany and some Nordic countries.

There are also some gas stations in Switzerland where you can fill up the HVO100, but they are mainly for business purposes.
