Government Council meeting November 29, 2022 • The Government Council grants a guarantee credit for agricultural advisory services for the year 2023. The possibilities for future orientation will be examined in a transitional year.
The canton of Glarus does not have its own agricultural advisory service. A service contract with the agricultural school has been active since 2014 Plantahof in Landquart. So far, the pledge credits have been approved by the district administrator for four years. The expected fee income could not be achieved in every case. The deal, which expires at the end of 2022, will now be extended by just one year. The government council speaks on its own authority a loan of 165,000 francs. During the interim solution in 2023, conditions are to be renegotiated and alternatives are to be examined for the period from 2024 onwards.
