The Association of Farmers and Ranchers of Organic Products (Agrele) Leon offers two free courses on agriculture and production of products, juices and beer.
The association of farmers and ranchers of organic products (Agrele) and the City Council of León will teach as of January 11 the AgroEco Training Program.
This program consists of two courses free. Both will be taught during the month of January and early February in the afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The place of theoretical classes will be in the CEAS Ventas Este and practical classes in the Huertos de la Candamia.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the classes of the course called ‘Production of Dehydrated organic food, juices and beer‘. The course classes of ‘Ecological agriculture‘will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
During the teaching of the classes, the indications of the health authorities in relation to prevention and protection against covid-19.
In the course of Ecological agriculture The fundamentals of organic production will be addressed, how to keep the soil alive, tillage techniques, as well as the choice of crops, fertilization and the health of crops for the control of pests and diseases, this course is eminently practical for what Visits will be made with face-to-face practices to Candamia gardens where the different techniques used in organic farming can be carried out.
During the course of ‘Production of Dehydrated organic food, juices and beer” Basic knowledge about the production systems of craft beer, juice, kombucha and natural champagnes, among others, as well as the use of technologies for bottling and packaging, also face-to-face practices will be carried out for the manufacture and bottling of the products.
