AGREEMENT – Reinaldo thinks that the “ideal would have been for Leonel not to leave the PLD”

The Secretary General of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Reinaldo Pared Pérez, said Saturday that until now there is no political union between that party and the People’s Force, which was founded by Leonel Fernández after his departure from the Purple organization

When questioned by several journalists, Pared Perez said that both the PLD and the People’s Force travel different paths and that the “ideal” would have been for Fernandez not to leave the government party.

“Ideally, Leonel would not have left the PLD because Leonel is a real personality in the Dominican Republic, but unfortunately he left and everyone is walking his ways,” the Senate president told several journalists.

The presidential candidate for Force of the People, Leonel Fernández, left the ruling party after he alleged that he was fraud in favor of the current presidential candidate for the PLD, Gonzalo Castillo, during the celebration of the open primary of the last October 6th.

The declarations of Wall Perez were produced during a dental day of the Senate of the National District in constituency number two.

This is the second time that Pared Perez laments Fernández’s departure from the ruling party. The first occurred a few days after the crisis materialized in the purple party. On that occasion he said that Leonel Fernández was an asset of the Dominican Republic and that, equally, he should not leave the game.
