Agree There Are No Paid Vaccines?

Implementation Vaccination Gotong Royong (VGR) reaps a storm of pros and cons. The implementation of VGR by Kimia Farma adjusts the Regulation of the Minister of Health (Permenkes) No. 19 of 2021 concerning amendments to Permenkes No. 10/2021 concerning the Implementation of Vaccination in the Context of Combating the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The gotong royong vaccine itself is intended for individuals who are willing and company employees who can afford it. The mutual cooperation vaccine uses the Sinopharm vaccine, which is currently limited in availability at a price of IDR 321,660 per dose.

The program, which originally started on Monday, July 12, 2021, was finally postponed. The reason is so that it can be disseminated to the wider community.

But the storm of protests kept coming, from economists, workers, to the Indonesian Consumers Foundation.

“Paid Vaccines it is unethical in the midst of a raging pandemic. Therefore, paid vaccines must be rejected,” said the Chairman of the YLKI Daily, Tulus Abadi.

On the other hand, this self-vaccination is expected to help accelerate community immunity. This includes those who have difficulty getting access to vaccinations.
