Agra: Five persons, including a woman, have been arrested in the case of gang-rape of a young woman who was running a homestay in Agra. The victim told the police that the gang had recorded her nude scenes and threatened her with rape.
The complainant says that the group forced the young woman to drink alcohol and after the assault, hit her on the head with a glass. A video of the young woman pleading for help was also released after this.
On Saturday night, the woman called the police and reported the information. Later, the police reached the spot and arrested them. All are natives of Agra. Police sealed the homestay after the incident.
A case has been registered against the accused under the sections of rape and attempt to murder. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
