Agra Danilevich’s Poetry: A Mesmerizing Fusion of Spanish Chamber Music and Dance

This Saturday, September 9, the show “Nestastot. Spanish chamber music. Dance. Agra Danilevich’s poetry”, which won undivided praise from the public and critics in the spring.

In his jubilee year (unbelievable, but the ever-vivacious and attractive dance teacher will turn 60 in October!) the choreographer Agris Danilevičs has revealed another passion of his that he had kept secret until now – an invitation to express his feelings, his thoughts, longings and experiences in the lines of poetry.

“Agra Danilevich’s poetry dedicated to love will resonate with dance, the rhythms of passionate Spanish music and poignant lyrics. Music, dance and song will create and sing love stories without telling them,” the show’s organizers announce.

Aleksandra Spitzberga, whose bright and surprising performance as a singer and also a dancer, was evaluated as a winner in the spring vote of “Kilograms of Culture” takes part in the performance as the main soloist. “People all over the world really care about the same things! It is interesting that Spanish music talks about the same thing as Agra’s poetry – about nature, about feelings and, of course, above all – about love,” thinks soloist Aleksandra Spitzberga. In the spring, seven shows were already held in Riga, Sigulda, Dobele, Ventspils and Alūksne, which received great response from the audience.
