Agoro: A Collaborative Hip Hop Collective at Nancy Jazz Tour – Celebrating 50 Years of the Festival

Agoro, “band” in the Twi dialect, is a collaborative hip hop collective that brings together Nancy rappers Lobo EL and Cotchei, Ghanaian MCs Kwame Mulzz, Lil Fyve and Khofi Koojan and the alternative formation of the NCY Milky Band. Since its creation in 1973, the Nancy Jazz Pulsations festival has established itself as a major event on the French music scene and today brings together nearly 100,000 festival-goers each year in a city with an exceptional heritage but also throughout the region. This 50th anniversary is an opportunity to tell the story of the festival, to invent and celebrate with an XXL program (Yasiin Bey & Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Hania Rani, Kenny Barron, Ed Banger XX…) and this special project “Agoro” , totem of the Nancy Jazz Tour, in the Grand Est and everywhere in France!
