AGON by AOC presents three displays aimed at competitive gamers

AGON by AOC, expands its AGON PRO range aimed at competitive players and introduces a legendary trio of monitors: the 68.6 cm (27-inch) AG274QXM, which uses a Mini LED IPS panel with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, the 27- inch AG274UXP and the 27-inch AG274QG, both 4-sided borderless monitors equipped with high-speed IPS panels and VESA DisplayHDR 600 support.

The gaming community has been waiting for this moment: the two sides of the universe come together for a good cause. Competitive-level gaming requires high refresh rates and extremely responsive screens. On the other hand, story-driven, slower games are best enjoyed when the visuals are enhanced by wide-gamut HDR screens.

AGON PRO AG274QXM

Gaming without compromise

The 27-inch AG274QXM comes with a monitor screen (Shadow Shield) to reduce reflections from sunlight or bright stage lighting. The Mini LED backlight technology and a fast IPS panel with a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) provides 576 dimming zones for DisplayHDR 1000 support to achieve a minimized halo effect and better brightness uniformity compared to edge-lit HDR displays. That while the thickness of the monitor has been reduced.

The DisplayHDR 1000 delivers peak brightness of 1000 nits and deep, inky black levels, all within the same frame. With a capacity of 1.07 billion colors and a DCI-P3 gamut of 99%, the AG274QXM offers a color experience. Gamers of all skill levels, especially competitive gamers, will appreciate the 170Hz refresh rate with 1ms GtG for perfect visuals. With its G-SYNC compatibility, the monitor offers stutter-free and tear-free gameplay, even with HDR enabled.

The 27-inch AG274UXP features a Nano IPS panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) to deliver extremely sharp images with its 163 PPI pixel density. Combining 4K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time, the monitor delivers everything needed for competitive gameplay.

AGON PRO AG274UXP

The monitor supports DisplayHDR 600 for rich, clear and dynamic images through very high brightness, 1.07 billion colors and 98% of the DCI-P3 gamut range. The monitor has a 4-sided borderless design.

Thanks to HDMI 2.1 support, the AG274UXP is fully compatible with the new generation of consoles, which can output 4K @ 120 Hz and support variable refresh rate. Tearing and stuttering on both consoles and PC is eliminated as the monitor is G-SYNC compatible.

AGON PRO AG274QG

For the most hardcore gamers and esports players who need the highest frames per second they can get, but still don’t want to compromise on color fidelity, the G-SYNC ULTIMATE monitor AG274QG is perfect.

The 27-inch AG274QG has a fast IPS panel with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz for incredibly detailed gameplay. With a response time of 1ms GtG, ghosting is virtually non-existent, and latency connoisseurs can measure their system latency with the built-in NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer.

By connecting a Reflex-supported mouse, such as the AOC’s GM500, the analyzer can provide users with instant feedback on system latency. Rich, vibrant images are also one of the strengths of the AG274QG. With 1.07 billion colors, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 area, the AG274QG also supports DisplayHDR 600 to simultaneously display bright sunlight and deep shadows.

This is what the monitors have in common

All three monitors are also equipped with a 120mm height adjustable and versatile stand. A 4-port USB 3.2 hub is built in to help gamers connect their peripherals such as keyboards, mice, streaming lights or webcams.

The monitors also feature RGB (Light FX) lighting and AGON logo projection introduced in previous AGON PRO models to enhance personalization. The QuickSwitch controller, a wired remote, is included with all models to easily adjust game-specific functions in the OSD. The OSD can also be controlled on the monitor itself or using the G-Menu software (AG274QXM and AG274UXP).

To complete the audiovisual experience, all models have two 5W speakers that support DTS for clear and rich sound. The AG274QXM and AG274UXP feature a USB-C connection (65W power supply) and a built-in KVM switch, the AG274UXP also offers a Picture-by-Picture mode. For content creators and live streamers using multiple computers, this feature makes it easy to switch between two PCs while using the same monitor and peripherals, or mirror their smartphones over USB-C when streaming mobile games.
