The City Council of Agolada recovered on Monday at noon the free transport service that is offered to women who are summoned at the Gil Casares Hospital to undergo periodic check-ups against breast cancer.
The Agoladés government wants to confront the criticism of the exedil Xosé Ramón Blanco (he left the corporation in 2009) and clarifies that this transport service does not depend on the Council, but on the Xunta, given that the early cancer detection program depends on Health. Two new municipal vehicles
The City Council of Agolada has just acquired two new municipal vehicles with its own funds, two vans that will be used by the workers of Obras y Servicios Sociais. The mayor, Luis Calvo, indicates that this acquisition was possible thanks to “the savings plan that we are doing during this term.” The vehicles were very necessary because the works personnel work in several places at the same time, and the Servizos Sociais staff required a vehicle to travel to the homes and attend to the needs of the dependent persons.
