Aalen (an) – Due to maintenance work in the Agnesburg tunnel, it has to be temporarily closed. The tube in the direction of Ulm will be closed during the night from Tuesday, May 31 to Wednesday, June 1, between 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. Driving in the direction of Ulm will be closed between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.
During the night from Wednesday, June 1st to Thursday, June 2nd, traffic will be closed between 10:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. in the direction of Würzburg and between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. in the direction of Ulm.
In the direction of Ulm, traffic is diverted at junction 114 Aalen-Westhausen and routed via the signposted required diversion U12 to the Aalen-Oberkochen junction. In the direction of Würzburg, traffic is diverted at junction 115 Aalen-Oberkochen and routed via the signposted required diversion U9 to the Aalen-Westhausen junction.
The maintenance work includes checking the traffic systems. This includes traffic lights, barriers, tunnel lighting and control systems. The tunnel radio system, the video and process control technology and the electro-acoustic systems are also checked. The safety-related equipment such as the emergency call stations, the fire alarm system and the hydraulic equipment for the fire-fighting water supply are also checked.
