The 69-year-old accused who last Saturday afternoon killed his son-in-law in Agia Varvara is being sent to prison after his confession to the investigator.
According to information, the defendant denied that the crime was not pre-planned, asserting that at the critical time of committing the exploitable act, he was in the heat of the moment, as his son-in-law cursed him and spoke badly to him. The accused allegedly claimed that he regretted what had happened.
In fact, the 69-year-old said that the relationship he had with his son-in-law was not good as the defendant had accused him of sexually abusing his grandchildren, which was however not confirmed by the child psychiatrist’s report.
The justice reserved the same criminal treatment for his 69-year-old wife, who is accused of complicity in the homicide and was also temporarily detained. And she, according to information, in her apology referred to the strained relations of the couple with their son-in-law and what they attributed to him.
In fact, according to the testimony of the couple’s daughter and the victim’s husband, her mother was yelling at her father “Rixto, rixto” through the intercom.
In the next period her advocates will file an appeal against the temporary detention.
