Luis Canales, president of 21 de Diciembre, Rafael Palavecinos from Club Deportivo Estadio, Héctor Mora from San Luis and Alejandro from the Manuel Rodríguez team, decided to punish Orellana’s aggressor for life and legal measures will also be taken against him. As a club, the sanction was 6 games for all the adult series and 3 more for the El Sauce honor series.
“No discipline wants violence, but today society is not going through a good time, they react to anything, in football I do not accept this type of actions, I am a football lover, I belong to a sports club in the amateur football, this does not mean that an act of violence occurs in more than one match, that is beyond our hands,” declared the President of ANFA Ñuble, Carlos San Martín.
In addition, the mayor of the sports organization confirmed that they will contribute to the player’s medical expenses.
“As an amateur football player, from the moment we met, I immediately discussed it with our board of directors, I already spoke with this young man’s father, with the club. We can’t afford everything, but we have helped as much as possible and we will continue to look for ways to continue raising funds for his medical expenses. Here we are not unaware that there is violence on the fields, but we cannot classify them all as that, the majority are going to play for the team they have always wanted,” he added.
The ANFA will present a legal complaint against the aggressor, led by lawyer Iván Rodríguez, this will have no value for the club nor for the family of the attacked young player who was looking for his opportunity in Comunal Cabrero.
