An aggressive passenger on board a KLM flight to Canada has been handcuffed by the crew. At the time, the plane had been underway for two hours and was flying northeast of Iceland. The aircraft has returned to Schiphol.
The Boeing 777 was on its way to the city of Calgary, in western Canada. It is not clear who the aggressive passenger was targeting. But the situation was so serious that the man was handcuffed to his chair after he was overpowered, according to the statement NH News.
The Marechaussee awaited the aircraft and boarded it to apprehend the passenger.
