During a sniper attack near Maryinka, a Ukrainian defender was killed. This was announced on Saturday, March 13, by the press center of the JFO headquarters.
It is noted that as a result of hostile sniper fire, one Ukrainian soldier received injuries incompatible with life.
Ukrainian defenders returned fire to all shelling from the enemy.
Since the beginning of this day, the separatists have violated the ceasefire four times, the Ukrainian servicemen have not suffered.
It is noted that all the shelling was carried out in the area of the settlement of Peski.
“The enemy opened fire towards our positions from grenade launchers and small arms. There are no combat losses among the Ukrainian defenders,” the headquarters said.
Representatives of the OSCE have been notified of the actions of illegal armed groups.
Earlier it was reported that under Starognatovka a 44-year-old soldier from the Cherkasy region was killed Vladimir Onoprienko.
