Agents surround house in Rosmalen after man shoots at police | NOW

In Rosmalen, a man who is said to have shot at agents entrenched himself in a house on Schoolstraat, the police reported.

According to, among other things Broadcasting Brabant is it a 27-year-old man who still has to serve a sentence. The police don’t want to confirm anything about this. He is said to have shot at officers who then returned.

“There is a man in his home who needs to be arrested and shots have been fired. We are on site to see how things should go,” says spokesman Imca van Dijk of the police of East Brabant. She adds that the Schoolstraat has been closed off.

About thirty officers would have surrounded the surroundings of the house and there would be an arrest team present.

Various media write that it would be Joey D., who was sentenced Tuesday on appeal to fifteen years in prison for shooting his uncle. This cannot be confirmed yet.
