So probably a remaster.
Last night, Microsoft dealt a blow to the nostalgic nerve with the unveiling of The age of mythology: told. It was all made with a short trailer – but without gameplay – in which we were promised that the gods would return, the heroes will rise and the legends will fight, as they should.
On Twitter, they made it clear that Age of Mythology will receive a “definitive edition treatment”, which probably means that it is a remaster in the same spirit as the definitive editions of The age of empires– games. However, it will not only get better graphics, but also updated game mechanics and “more”.
Relic Entertainment will be responsible for development and the game will be available via PC Game Pass. However, we don’t have a release date.
