16 years after the launch of Age of Empires III, we finally got to see the new game in the franchise in action. This Saturday (10), Age of Empires IV received new trailers and a launch window scheduled for the last quarter of 2021.
During the Age of Empires Fan Preview, we were able to see a general six-minute gameplay trailer of AoE IV showing the game’s traditional mechanics, as well as a teaser of the game’s sea battles.
Relic Entertainment also announced that Age IV will have eight playable civilizations and four new campaigns at its launch. Chinese, Mongolian, English it’s the Delhi Sultanate have already been confirmed, with more announcements scheduled for the coming months.
We also had a video showing a Chinese Civilization, O Delhi Sultanate e the Norman Campaign. All the content of the videos was captured within the development engine.
You can check out all the content of the Fan Preview on the event’s official website, which is all interactive and thematic, with areas for the community, information about civilizations and areas for you to make your own coat of arms, for example.
Now set for release, Age of Empires IV will be available for PC, via Windows Store, Steam e Xbox Game Pass. The game will receive a closed beta that has no date yet.
