In 2024, for the 16th year in a row, the Municipality of Agde has not increased the property tax rate that it is responsible for.
However, when you read your tax form, you will see an increase in your withholding due to a State decision. This actually sets each year the tax bases to which the rates apply according to the evolution of inflation. As this has been important in recent years, this has led to an increase in the bases and therefore in the fee.
But I emphasize again, only the State is responsible for this increase, because the City has kept its rates stable again.
