PR TASIKMALAYA – Korea Agency for Disease Control and Prevention (KDCA) on Friday, October 23, 2020 said it would continue the program vaccination flu which aims to prevent complications Covid-19, after reviewing the dozens of death cases that have been made public.
According to KDCA, a survey does not show a direct relationship between vaccination and 26 deaths under investigation.
In a statement, KDCA also stated that it plans to meet on Saturday to review additional analysis.
It is known that until Friday, October 23, 2020, the death toll in the case vaccination reached 36 people on Friday, sparking calls from doctors and politicians to halt the program, which aims to vaccinate some 30 million of the country’s 52 million population.
About 20 preliminary autopsy results from the police and the National Forensic Service showed that 13 people died from cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and other disorders that were not caused by vaccination, while seven others are undergoing additional examinations, said KDCA.
Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun extended his condolences to the bereaved families and called for a thorough investigation to verify the exact cause of death.
“So far experts say it is unlikely that the shootings and deaths are linked but many residents remain anxious,” he was quoted as saying Pikiran.Rakyat-Tasikmalaya.com in Reuters.
