The Aalen family doctor’s practice on the upper floor of the cube offers all the basic services of a family doctor, internal medicine and general medical practice. This also includes a corresponding vaccination offer. After last year’s successful campaign, in which more than 120 vaccinations were administered per campaign day, the practice is offering this service again in 2024.
Increase is easy to predict
“In the winter, flu cases and Covid19 cases increase,” says Dr. Christoph Stirner, that’s why we decided to start an uncomplicated vaccination campaign: On October 16th and November 20th, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., everyone can accept this offer from the practice. “A high influenza vaccination rate among risk groups is essential in order to prevent serious illnesses during the flu season and to avoid bottlenecks in hospitals,” explains the specialist in internal medicine, primary care and emergency medicine.
Doctors’ recommendations go to specific people

“We recommend vaccinations to all people who belong to groups that are at greater risk of severe disease. “Especially older people aged 60 and over and especially very old people or people with underlying illnesses,” adds Dr. Huseyin Büyükasik, specialist in general medicine, family medicine and emergency medicine. Anyone who has the vaccination certificate in their pocket can spontaneously decide to be vaccinated on the two days of the campaign. “It is not necessary to make an appointment for the vaccination day,” says Florian Kühnle, specialist in internal medicine and primary care.
If you feel fit: just come along
“Anyone who comes to the vaccination days should generally feel healthy and not have a fever. If desired, it is also possible and completely safe to receive both Covid and influenza vaccinations on the same day. The information and consent forms are provided on site and the respective doctor can of course be asked questions. Of course, all interested parties who do not belong to the risk groups explained are also welcome.
