Again, information about the KPK’s arrest plan was leaked, causing the suspect to have time or managed to escape. Latest, there is a Regent Middle MamberamoRicky Ham Pagawak managed to escape to Papua New Guinea.
Prior to Ricky Ham, the operation for the arrest of the Jambi Governor Zumi Zola, Harun Masiku, and the Regent of Langkat Terbit, the Parangin Angin Plan, had leaked. Zumi Zola, and Terbit Plan have been captured, but Harun Masiku is still being sought.

“It turns out that Regent Ricky Ham Pagawak first received information that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) team in Jayapura had first received information, so he chose to flee to Papua New Guinea (PNG) via the rat route,” said Faizal in Jayapura as reported by detikSulsel, Friday (15/15/2020). 7/2022).
Faizal said that his party is helping KPK investigators find Ricky Ham who is suspected of fleeing to Papua New Guinea. Faizal said the police had not been able to find the whereabouts of RHP, who on Wednesday (13/7) was still being detected in Jayapura.
“Lastly, we got information that he was delivered at Skouw Market, Thursday (14/7) morning. We are still trying, we are spreading our network of contacts next door,” said Faizal.
Meanwhile, the KPK acknowledged that it had named Ricky as a suspect. However, when he was about to catch him, Ricky had run away.
“According to the information we received on Thursday (14/7), the Investigative Team scheduled a second summons for one of the regional heads in the Papua Province who has been designated as a suspect to attend the KPK Red and White Building in Jakarta. This is without a valid legal basis for arguments and the investigative team considers this a form of uncooperative action,” said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri, Saturday (16/7/2022).
He said the team of investigators made an attempt to force them to pick up. However, Ricky Ham was not at the location.
“It is true, the KPK then attempted to forcefully pick up the suspect in the Papua region but did not find the whereabouts of the person concerned. Therefore, we urge the party concerned to cooperate with the applicable legal process by fulfilling the summons of the investigator team,” he said.
Another Leaky Arrest Operation
In a press conference at the KPK on Thursday, January 20, 2022, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said that Terbit Plan had fled from his private home when he was about to be arrested by the KPK.
Ghufron said that initially the KPK received information from the public that there would be a money-giving transaction by the suspect Muara Warin-angin (MR). Ghufron said the investigative team immediately followed the movement of Muara Warin-Angin, who had time to withdraw money from a regional bank.
“The KPK team immediately moved and followed several parties including MR who made a withdrawal of some money at a regional bank,” said Ghufron.
