In the CoV school tests, logistics problems arose again this week at five Salzburg schools. PCR samples were not collected, tests could not be interpreted correctly, or results came too late.

Last week, technical problems in a test laboratory were the cause.
Practical example from Neumarkt
This week it is more due to misunderstandings, for example from the Handelsakademie (HAK) in Neumarkt am Wallersee (Flachgau). The PCR test samples have been at this HAK since Tuesday morning. They have still not been picked up and evaluated. The school management reported the problem. But there was no reaction to this, says the director.
The samples are no longer valid. However, the school management is not allowed to simply dispose of them. In the meantime, the students in Neumarkt have been checked themselves with rapid antigen tests.
Obstacles, harassment, barriers?
The responsible laboratory Novogenia said that the samples were not available for collection at the right place. But director Christoph Rosenstatter from HAK Neumarkt cannot imagine that: “That is definitely not the case. This pick-up point is completely the same as last week. It is also signposted. What was said cannot be right. “
The laboratory says that the drivers shouldn’t just get out and ask the management where the tests are. That corresponds “not to the regulations of the Ministry of Education”. With parents and teachers, such guidelines are criticized as “bureaucratic hurdles” that are out of place in times like these.
