Previously, the number of dengue cases in Bangka Regency had almost become an Extraordinary Event (KLB).
In fact, during 2021 there have been at least 155 cases recorded by the Health Service as of December 27, 2021.
However, there were no cases that resulted in death from the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito.
It is known, the highest cases occurred in October and December with 27 cases each.
However, in the remainder of the year, there is still a possibility that the number of cases will continue to increase.
On the other hand, the highest number of dengue cases in December 2021 was recorded from the Kenanga Health Center and Pemali Health Center.
Therefore, the high number of dengue cases that have occurred over the last few months has the opportunity to become an outbreak.
