Antoine Griezmann hasn’t really been able to bring out his best since joining Barcelona in 2019.
For one year living in Camp Nou, the French national team striker has only contributed 11 goals in 42 matches Spanish League.
In comparison, when he started his career at Atletico Madrid, he was able to pack 25 goals in the same number of appearances.
According to Griezmann’s uncle, who was not identified, the nephew failed to perform optimally because he did not receive a positive response from Lionel Messi when arriving at Barcelona.

Uncle Griezmann himself was reluctant to reveal the real Barcelona dressing room situation.
Nevertheless, he hinted that there was an internal problem in the Blaugrana’s body.
“There are some things I cannot reveal. However, I can say that they did not work hard enough,” said Griezmann’s uncle.
