The garden drink would have taken place in a week in which the police handed out hundreds of fines to citizens who did not comply with the corona rules. You were only allowed to meet one person outside at that time.
An official investigation has been going on for several weeks, led by top official Sue Gray, into the lockdown drinks that allegedly took place on Downing Street during the pandemic. The result of that investigation is expected to lead to layoffs. How much exactly, and to what level of the incumbent government, we will see in the coming weeks.”
