Agadir: 158 million DH to strengthen the health system

A partnership agreement on the qualification of the health system at the level of the prefecture of Inezgane-Aït Melloul was signed on Saturday in Agadir.

This agreement, concluded during a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb, will make it possible to carry out several projects for a total investment of 158 million DH. These projects will be financed by the Ministry of Health up to 48%, the region of Souss-Massa (26%) and the local authorities concerned. They relate to the delivery of category A ambulances for the benefit of the local medical center Leqliaa, in addition to the construction and equipment of urban health centers in certain districts (Rmel and Tarrast in Inezgane), and in Aït Melloul.

The projects also concern the qualification of the services of the morgue and the laboratory of the provincial hospital of Inezgane, as well as the construction and equipment of the reception service, emergencies and a resuscitation unit. on this site. Also planned are the construction of a hospital in Aït Melloul and the qualification of health centers and units in this prefecture.
