On Wednesday morning, a person was found dead at Stenpiren in Gothenburg.
According to unnamed sources, the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, it must be Mark Lorentzon (55). The information has not been confirmed by the police.
Aftonbladet writes that the police were notified of a drowning accident at 09.30 on Wednesday.
– We have a person in the water and we assist the police, Bo Florell at the Rescue Service told the newspaper.
Police have confirmed the person is dead.
–Wanted internationally
Lorentzon was on Monday remanded in custody and wanted internationally. He was charged at the end of last week with gross public destruction the explosion at a block of flats in Annedal in Gothenburg.
– We do not know where he is. We have not seen any sign of life after him after the day of the explosion. So we do not even know if he is alive, police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg told VG on Tuesday.
Since the charge on Thursday, the police have been hunting intensively for Lorentzon. They have conducted several searches at addresses related to him and received a number of tips on where he may be.
