Viewers in almost complete darkness.
The unexpected doesn’t come often these days. All the better for the theaters in Switzerland that they have been allowed to play again unexpectedly since the end of April – but only in front of 50 spectators and under the well-known hygiene rules. In the shipbuilding in Zurich, a former machine hall, the owners of the coveted tickets for the premiere of Alexander Giesche’s production “Afterhour” lose themselves in the chic leather booths. Some have provisions with them, of course there is nothing to drink. But – said co-director Benedikt von Blomberg in the brightly striped sweater before the entrance – one was happy, finally …
