A source familiar with the work of the High Allocation Commission, in statements to “Masrawy”, said that this decision was approved in 2022, and that there is no problem in implementing it starting there the 2025, and all the members of the committee from the medical unions agreed that the designation should be according to need and not mandatory for all medical departments.
At the meeting of the High Commissioning Committee, the need to open new areas for pharmacists in coordination with the Supreme Council of Universities and the Supreme Council of University Hospitals was emphasized in line with what is followed in health systems global, and was emphasized. that requests for commissioning received from the authorities show a real need, taking into account the shortage in numbers of health service providers and a balanced geographical distribution in all governments.
During the meeting, a study was presented on the numbers of personnel in the medical professions given by the assignment law in the Ministry of Health and its affiliated bodies including the total number of doctors, pharmacists, nursing specialists and all medical service providers on the job, disability rates, the average numbers of annual college graduates and the average The expected increase in the next five years.
