Microsoft was already in a funny mood by introducing the Xbox refrigerator. It did not stop at a joke, but actually became a tangible device. Now it’s not Microsoft, but Krispy Kreme that the Xbox puts on fun pants. In this case, an Xbox donut that you can snack on.
Krispy Kreme came up with the Xbox donut to reflect on the fact that the console can blow out 20 candles this year. This is an action in the United Kingdom and Ireland, so unfortunately we will not get much of it. They call it the Nexus Level donut.
There is actually a nice promotion associated with the concept. Buy a box of branded donuts, enter the code provided online and have a chance to win an Xbox Series S. The promotion runs in the first three weeks of August. Participation guarantees a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which makes it worthwhile in that regard.
Unlike the X, the Xbox Series S is still available in stores. Several webshops have the cheaper new generation console in stock. That’s a different story with the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5.
