After the war, thousands of Russian companies have appeared in Georgia. That worries the experts.

Many residents of Georgia have great sympathy for Ukraine, and at the same time support an orientation towards the EU and the West. This photo is from a support demonstration for Ukraine in the spring of 2014, when Russia annexed Krym and contributed to warfare in Donbas.

There are currently 13,500 Russian companies in Georgia. About half of them were registered after the war broke out in Ukraine.

This is shown by a new report from Transparency International. The organization works, among other things, to combat corruption.
