Jakarta – A German citizen with the initials KEN (85) and his wife, NS (53), were victims murder by a construction worker in Serpong, South Tangerang (Tangsel). After killing the victim, the perpetrator with the initials WA (22) stole two cellphones (HP) and some money and then fled to the Tambun area, Bekasi, West Java.
“The person concerned took two units of the victim’s cell phone and then also money cash amounting to Rp. 220 thousand, “said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of South Tangerang Police, AKP Angga Surya at the Tangsel Police Headquarters, Sunday (14/3/2021).
The WA suspect killed KEN and NS with an ax on Friday (12/3) at around 22.30 WIB. Angga said that the ax that WA used to kill was already in the victim’s house.
“So it (the ax) was at the TKP (scene of the case) indeed, it was there before,” said Angga.
Angga said the suspect did not suspect that the local security forces would kill the couple. This is because the suspect is indeed a construction worker who worked to renovate the victim’s house from February 22 to March 8, 2021.
“There is no (suspicion), because the person concerned works there. So the security guards are used to seeing him going in and out because he really works there,” he said.
As is known, Tangsel Police managed to arrest a construction worker who was the perpetrator of the murder of a couple in Tangsel. The perpetrator with the initials WA has now been named a suspect and detained.
“The suspect was arrested in the vicinity of his brother’s house in North Tambun, Bekasi, on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at around 15.30 WIB after repairing a pump belonging to residents,” he said.
